Beauty and the Beast Update
The first update from the road is in!

New SPITFIRE Lance Mountain OG Wheel!!

Lance is a living legend and if anything, has only gotten better with time. How can you argue with pictures like this??
"Poured fresh daily in the USA" Spitfire Wheels are made right in SF. Actually, right above the dlxsf offices. I think that's pretty rad considering how much is made overseas and brought over... They have complete control over the production and it shows, Spitfire Wheels are #1 for a reason.
While we're on the subject of Spitfire, did you see this video of Dennis Busenitz?? Sooo sick! From what I heard, this line really wasn't planned at all other than the ollie over the wall and then it was just a 'follow me.' Soooo sick. The filmer was on cruiser wheels and was having trouble keeping up with him.

Mark you calendars for the upcoming Barefoot Wine Beach Cleanup and concert on August 29th. The Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project is back for its third straight year, and this time it''s bigger than ever!
In celebration of Surfrider Foundation''s 25th Anniversary, Barefoot Wine and the Surfrider Foundation are rescuing, renewing and restoring 25 beaches this summer. The Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project will rap up in Asbury Park, NJ with a multi site beach clean up and after party on August 29th sponsored by Barefoot Wine to support the Surfrider Foundation. Musical guests will include Joss Stone, Gavin DeGraw, Cold War Kids and Mason Jennings!

What's going on guys?
I was out sick for a couple days but Im back, feeling good, and ready to sell some skateboards!
We still have a couple of the brand new Krooked Gonz (Mark Gonzales Interview) limited VW board in stock, pick one up before they're gone!
This interview with Tommy G is nothing short of awesome. He talks about working at DLX, skateboarding, and his music. So rad! The guy is a living legend.
New Thunder Lights (backed by Chris Cole...)colorways are in stock! The lightest, quickest turning, strongest truck in the industry just got a makeover.
I've been skating the Thunder Lights for a while now and I completely back them, best truck I have ever skated. They turn like a dream and have held up to everything I've thrown at them.

And now, a Sector 9 Moment

Now this is really psycho downhill riding!! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wJlkErzEgE I watched this and as a skater it scares me alot, I'm not going to lie I would be freaked out 100% to be on a skateboard or longboard at that speed and ever try any sort of a slide.
Specialty Sports also just got in a ton of Sector 9 Longboards at the store, give us a call for more details.

Official Competitors: Chris Cole, Adam Dyet, David Gonzalez, Nick Dompierre, Milton Martinez, Robert Lopez Mont, Rodolfo Ramos, Tyler Hendley, Fabrizio Santos, and Jordan Hoffart.
At the last minute, and seeing as the backboard/snowboard jump didn’t get much love in the regular contest, we decided to whip together a TransWorld Best Trick contest for $5,000, winner take all, for single best trick. P-Rod, Sheckler, Chaz, and Decenzo were originally committed, but they were burnt out after the finals and after skating for ten hours a day for the last few days. That left the door open for a few alternates who took over their spots. Milton Martinez’s nollie big spin was nothing short of ridiculous, Lopez Mont was flipping into the back board the wrong way, Fabrizio was the only one to hit the thing fakie, and it was more than apparent that Dyet grew up near the mountains. Chris Cole dropped his dork trick library to the crowd’s (and my personal) delight, and even grabbed the basketball and attempted to make the shot while crossing the gap. But in the end, it was Jordan Hoffart who took the five large with the big spin heel board to fakie the wrong way across the backboard. Congrats, Jordan.—Eric Stricker

8 Inches or more!!!

We have a ton of 8 inch + boards in stock from Real, Krooked, and Anti-Hero!! Tons of different shapes and sizes from a straight 8.0 all the way to an 8.5.
Im sure you know by now, but 8 inch boards are definitely the new 7.5. Ramondetta skates the 8.38, Bobby skates the 8.18, Trujillo skates the 8.125...I could go on. Bigger is better!
You're going to want to pick up some Thunder 147s and 149s to go with these new 8 inch boards too. You can't have your guys skating tiny trucks on big boards...
